Hawaiʻi artists invited to participate in this book provided a new work in a 10x20cm format specified by the organizers. Each artist is represented by one work. A full-color photograph of each piece is presented facing a statement about the artist and the artist’s career. Thumbnail photographs of the front and the back of the work are included beneath each commentary statement. All texts are presented in English on the left and in Italian on the right. For a few of the artists, foldout pages allow for the inclusion of longer commentary statements. The 150 works created for this project now belong to a Benetton special collection of Hawaiʻi art. It appears that the commentary statements were based on information provided by the artists. A two-page spread towards the front of the book features candid photographs of small number of the artists.
